Got a connector from Walmart which say for montana 2004 with chyme. Anyone ever used this before to connect a JVC after market stereo.

how do we know what connector you bought?
look at www.crutchfield.com to find the correct connectior and instructions. Then determine if it is the same as what you bought at walmart.
