To make a long story short... my husband took the keys out of the ignition when the car was still on and not in park. The car would not start after that so my father-in-law rigged it so I could start it with a screw driver. I don't know what is broken on it, I just know that I need it fixed so I can sell the car soon. Can anyone tell me how much they think it would be for parts and labor to get this fixed? The car is a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire if that helps at all. Thank you!
He took the small part off where you insert the key and now it's a bigger area where I stick the screw driver in so I guess the actual ignition switch. So do you know how much that would be?
