car randomly shuts off while driving

I have a 1994 Pontiac firebird with the 5.7. I have replaced the altinator, battery, new plugs and wires, new fuel filter and now when im driving down the road the car just shuts off. I put it back in park and it starts back up just fine. I have no Idea what the hell is going on. the service engine light is not on. any advice?

sounds like an electrical issue but it will be hard to pinpoint, check all ignition related connections
