car update

We have finally got the car safetied and registered in Manitoba. This is the `80 Indy car. The place we got it registered for provincial registration said that we will have to get an immobilizer installed or else they will take the registration off.
They were saying they had to do this because it is a high risk vehicle for being stolen.

Any rough estimates on how much it costs for the unit, and install? I know everywhere will be a bit different but just a rough estimate would be great. Thanks
