Car will not start

I Have a 2005 Grand Am and it won't start. I had the starter replaced and it still won't start. When I bought the car the original keys didn't come with it. I was told that could be the problem but right now no one is able to give me a clear diagnosis.

Is the security light on or flashing when you try to start it?

Shed us with a little more information. Did you purchase it not running, or is this a somewhat recent problem? Does it turn over? Have you tried starter fluid?

I didn't notice any if the lights coming on and staying on

It won't turn over. This just happened tuesday.

I'd take a look at the battery next then, perhaps its as simple as that but if its not it wouldnt hurt to rule it out.
