Hello everybody

I have a little problem.

When i removed my carburator i saw that a previous owner had tighten
the fuel pipe to the carburator so hard its got twisted. I have replaced the pipe and now the car gets fuel as it should.

But my car wont start now.
Could it be that now its getting to much fuel and the mixture is wrong?

Where do i change rich or lean mixture?

Carburator is : Rochester Quadrajet
Car is : Pontiac Firebird 1987
Engine: V8 5,0

Hope you understand my english.

how do you know the fuel bowl is filling with gas. when you look down the throat of the carburetor and move the throttle by hand do you see gas squirting into the carburetor? did you loosen up any dirt in the line when you changed it and now have blocked the fuel filter located in the carburetor?
