We are having the same issues with our daughter's 05 Sunfire 2.2 ecotec; We bought the car and it was running great for about a week; then the morning after she and her dad changed the brakes it refuses to start.
Over the past 2 weeks we have replaced the battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, ignition module, starter, crank position sensor. Car has plenty of fuel pressure and spark. Checked for fuel pressure with noid lights; that was fine; Have tried starting fuel and still didn't start.
We're at a loss at this point. They didn't hear any noises when they parked the car, running great, that night. But could it be the timing chain anyway?
We've checked the fuses (by sight not any tools) and they appear ok. We've switched out the relays and still nothing; not seeing any frayed wires. Checked for computer codes and showing 0 codes.
Would REALLY appreciate any help.
