Carburetor Help

Hello all. I'm new to this group but am a long time Pontiac enthusiast. I have a question. I am currently rebuilding a 1978 Firebird Esprit with a 305 engine. While working with the carburetor, I hit a snag. The model number doesn't match the ones for Firebirds. It is model #17056114. I was wondering if anyone has the carburetor specs for that model so that I can find the proper one to swap it with. I found out that that model number is used on Pontiacs from 1976, which could explain why the carburetor is running rough. I've already had the timing adjusted, so this is my next plan of attack. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. I saw that site already. What I need is the actual performance specs for the carburetor I already have so I can see if it is the correct swap.

specs like the float setting, float drop, fast idle speed, etc.
