Catalina inherit came with a 421 that I have some questions about.

Just inherited a 1964 Catalina 2+2 389 4sp. It came with a 421 engine that Im trying to get info on. I know my uncle bought it in 1970 and its stamped 54498 11B. Wich if i looked right is a 1963. Its in pieces but complet with intake a 3X2's. Not sure if I should sell it or rebuild it? Any thoughts or info please let me know! There is also a 62 Posi rear that was bought from the car if anyone would know what to asl for that I would appreciate ot greatly.

recheck the casting code should be 544988. You have to know whether to sell it or not. Check ebay and other sources for going prices on parts
