CD player error code

My cd player has an error code, it won't play any cd. Radio is fine, but cd player is not. I can not even put in or take out any cd from my cd player. I took it to the dealer and they told me that my warranty does not cover this problem. I don't know why if when I purchased the warranty I was told that even the radio was cover. I had a problem with the heater core too and they told me the same thing, your warranty does not cover that either. What???I'm tire of dealing with NORTH COUNTY BUICK CADILLAC GMC in Escondido CA 92029. As far as I know I purchased the best warranty. but this is another story. Anyway, can you help me on the cd player error and how can I fix it my self?

How about posting the error code? Did you go back and look at the paper work for the warranty? The factory warrenty is only 3 years 36,000 miles on components like a CD or heater core. Did you buy an extended warranty?

Yes I did buy an extended warranty. They didn't give the code, but on the radio screen say CDO T27 CD CHAGER ERROR. I'll check in the autopart see if they can give me the error code.

if its the stock one that came with the car i recommend taking it out and unplugging the wires let it sit 5 minutes then replug it in(tape the cords so you know what gos where) check for a reset, if its a a 'aftermarket' (meaning one you bought and/or had installed) cd player pull it out and press the reset in the back a toothpick is skinny enough to press the reset button
