Changed ignition module and now radio display does not light up

Changed ignition module 04 GA and now radio display does not light up

I have a 2004 Grand Am. replaced the ignition switch to resolved passcode issue. Now radio plays but does not display time or stations anymore. I have checked all the wiring connections for the radio and cannot find anything lose or disconnected. I have even checked fuses and all check out good. What am I missing? Radio was working perfect before changing the switch. it is the original manufacturer radio with cd player. please help.

did you disconnect the battery during the switch change, reconnection may have blown led in radio or was the battery left connected and a wire was shorted during the process.

the issue is internal to the radio, the led is blown or the board has a bad connection
