Chevy "Sprint"?...Not!
I was at the Pismo Classic Show this weekend, and I saw what a San Jose shop did with a IL 6 on a '51 Chevy. It was very good looking, with a very impressive looking 4bbl manifold and a 2 piece exhaust manifold. Lotsa chrome and polished aluminum made it look good, but I didn't hear it run. It definitely didn't have and OHC, and for all I know, it could have been a IL6 off a Toyota FJ.
Toyota M Family IL6 engines from the '60's and '70's were OHC. In the '80s they became DOHC IL6's and may have been fuel injected with lots horsepower.
