hey, i have a 2005 pont sunfire, im trying to figure out how to change the cig lighter from hot on batt to hot on ignition... anyone?? please and thanks

Run a new wire to a fuse that is only hot on ignition. Use a voltmeter to find it.

You might want to use a relay. The high side connected to the existing wire and the low side to a switched source.

Plugged in my phone charger to the cig lighter socket and no juice. Do I check for blown fuse first?
