finally getting a little fed up with a clunking sound coming from the shocks. all parts are completely stock. over larger bumps, there is not a clunk. however, over uneven surfaces or really small bumps, there is a very loud clunk. alot of times over the uneven surfaces, such as snow covered roads, its a repetitive clunk. HOWEVER, its only when its cold. during the winter, its obviously always cold, so for the first 2 miles or so, the clunk is there. it will eventually go away. seems to go away after the car has "warmed up". im assuming that its just cold suspension. but, i dont recall ever having a car that did this in the past.
