I need to purchase a clutch and flywheel for my Fiero that has a 2.8L engine. What clutch and flywheel will work on it? Would Camaro/Firebird 3.4L clutch/flywheel work? or clutch/flywheel from a 3.1 Cavalier/Sunbird?
Thanks in advance for any information!

in the 84 though there was no V6. unless this is a different car. either way different clutch and fly wheel for different applications. check out the clutch section on the left side of the screen in the column.

It is for a different Fiero that does have a V6 in it, welll will have a 2.8L V6 in it. I just wanted to know if any parts were interchangeable because it'll cost me a fortune to ship a flywheel that already costs quite a bit up to Canada.

For flywheels it depends on the year.
The 3.4L/3.1L flywheels ONLY work on the 1988 2.8L.
The 1985 thru 1987 use the earlier flywheel.

My next question would be why do you need a flywheel? If it's scored just have it turned/resurfaced. The pressure plate and clutch plate should be the only parts that require replacement.

When i bought the car it didnt have the original 2.8L engine at all. It had nothing in fact. So just recently i bought a 2.8L which is supposibly a 1986 model year engine and it didn't have a clutch or flywheel so I am in need of one now.

Then you need one from a 1987 or ealier 2.8L.

The difference is the 1987 and earlier engines were externally balanced so there is a weight on the flywheel. The 1988 2.8L and newer 60* V-6's (3.1/3.4L) were internally balanced so there is no extra weight on the flywheel.
