Clutch Slave Cylinder

So I'm looking at this 1985 Fiero but I'm reluctant because it needs a new clutch slave cylinder. I know its not an expensive part, but I'm wondering, do I have to drop the transmission and take it apart, or do I just un-bolt something, because I've heard different things from different people. Thanks for the help

You just disconnect the fluid line and unbolt it. No need to drop the trans or open it.
Then install new on and bleed the system.
