Hello everyone I am in some dire need of help please. I have a 1996 firebird and My check engine light is blinking, so I took it to a mechanic who told me that the car was misfiring so I had to replace a coil. So I did, but the problem came back the very next day. (engine sputters and i'm getting less mpg) Went back to mechanic to replace all six spark plugs and the spark plug wires, but still nothing,( cylinder 3 is misfiring) I changed another coil( not the same one) and STILL nothing, so he told me that it probably was the ignition module. I replaced that as well and still nothing, cylinder 3 is still misfiring. Anybody have any suggestions?
I'm getting really tired of this guess and check game that he is playing.
