Has anyone made a cold air intake? I wanted to see if you had some pics you could up load and see how and where you relocated the ECU.

I have an idea in my head, just wanted to make sure I'm on the right track.

Thanks

Tim

I have a 2000 Montana, im in the middle of putting a Ram Air on mine. i custom built it by cutting my own piping. im in the process of cutting my driver-side side marker to put the intake funnel for the air to go in. As for the ECU, when i removed my filter box, i got it to sit firm on the metal panel where the box used to be, and i used 3M double sided tape to just hold it in place, though it didnt need it. It fit snug for me. Putting a cold air should be similar.

Are you running it into the bumper? or are you going to delete a fog light? im interested in this project, cause i was debating a cold air. keep me updated.

I was thinking about using some 2" tubing and running from one of the vertical slots to the right of the drivers side fog lamp, then the drivers side to the hole in the fender then into the engine.

Vanman, can you take lots of pics for us to see?

Thanks

I'll try to upload the pics of what ive done so far. parts are coming in tomo!

i DEF get more power, and a nice sound from the engine. im still trying to calculate the gas though...my fuel gauge doesnt work so im going by mileage and gallons at the pump. so far, on my last fill up it saved me a gallon so it seems like its working

Trailboy: Sounds like a good idea. I will try to upload the pics this week. my part are supposed to come in Monday so hoping i'll have time to complete the task by the weekennd :D

Vanman,
