1996 Pontiac Sunfire / 2.2L
Recently i tore down the top end for a head gasket replacement and in the process of trying to bust loose really old spark plugs i snapped one off level in the head and had to drill / pry out the outter ring of the plug from the hole. The plug will hold specified torque specs but after putting the motor back together i'm getting a misfire, hissing sound of air escaping, blinking check engine light and a rough idle from hell. I'm assuming since the threads are a bit chewed up its leaking compression from the plug hole, any ideas on how i could prevent this from leaking without pulling it back apart? Washers, Sealant or anything along those lines..
