I have a 1969 firebird 350/2bbl and am currently installing the pistols. I am trying to determine if the machine shop installed the pistols incorrectly on the rods. The oil hole is closest to the outside of the cylinder which would not be facing the cam. Is that incorrect? I have a pic of the #1 piston installed if that helps.
