The owner is selling it for 1,850 obo.

the front window has a huge crack running through it. the fabric upholstery is a bit tattered. the body kit has scraps and small pieces missing, like part of the spoiler attached to the car.

i'm not car savvy, but the owner lists that it has new ignition system, new cooling system, new brakes, alloy wheels, performance clutch, AM/FM/CD, alarm system. and that is runs and drives great. also that it's owned by a mechanic.

i've done some research, and found out that the fiero has it shares of problems. but would it be too much to handle if you don't know much about cars?

also, what would be a fair price to ask for and how many mileage should i hoping for? oh, and what else should i be aware of?

parts are gonna be hard to find....something to think about. 1988? jeez maybe 120k miles. i wouldn't pay more then 5-700 for it

It might be a little bit of a handful if you aren't car savvy, but anyone who wants a Pontiac Fiero is definitely a car guy to some degree! Those Fiero GTs are really neat cars and very hard to find. The most important thing is that it drives good and it's a huge plus that it was owned by a mechanic and has a lot of new parts. You can always fix the imperfections like the crack in the glass and the upholstery later on. By saying front window do you mean the windshield? I'd definitely get that fixed right away if that's the case because you'll get air leaking through and water which is much worse.

But $1,850 is not a bad deal for a good running Fiero GT that needs some work. The market average for one in decent shape and running condition is about $4,000-$5,000+. One with manual transmissions are even more desirable then automatic models. I'd say buy it because you'll have a blast with it! Just be sure to take it in for a pre-purchase inspection first for peace of mind.
