Will the temperature gage still work if the temperature sensor is bad? The gage works fine, but the fans will not come on. Disconected the temp. sensor connector and the fans run on high. The temp. sensor sends a signal to the computer to run the fans. All relays, fuses and grounds are good. What could be the problem? I am leaning towards the temp. sensor,
