Pretty much since the day I bought this car, there is a semi strong coolant smell that seems to come and go. To me when I can smell it, it seems to be coming from the passenger side, but other times, I'm not able to really pinpoint where the smell is coming from. I haven't been able to locate any active leaks and my coolant level seems pretty stable.

I was also curious to see if any of y'all have ever had any issues with your speedometer. I've noticed that mine is off by nearly 5MPH at times. Thankfully it seems to be off in my favor. It'll show 70 MPH, but my real speed with be 65-66 MPH.

Have you looked under the passenger side carpet for coolant?
Have you had the system pressure tested?
Do you have the original size tires?

I haven't noticed anything. The smell is strongest in the engine bay, and I only smell it inside when I have the windows down.

The system was pressure tested not long ago by my mechanic. I had them do a check over since I'm dailying this for the next month while my other car is in the body shop. They found a leak at the water pump and replaced it. But as I said before, even when the motor is running with the system fully at pressure, I don't see any coolant coming from anywhere.

Yes, I'm running the original rims and standard sized Firestone all seasons on it.

Did the mechanic pressure test the cooling system cap?
What does standard size tires mean, exactly what size?

I do not know. I was thinking of replacing that to see what happens since they are so cheap. Less than $10 from Rock Auto for an OEM.

The standard size tire recommended by GM. I don't have the size right in front of me.

The Aztek came with two different size wheels and tires. Look at the sidewall for the size. It starts with the number 2.

That is the correct tire size. The tires would have to be very worn to account for that amount of speedometer error.
