I recently bought a 99 grand am se 3.6L as a for something to work on in my spare time. The guy I bought it from had a switch in the dash to turn the fans on. I got a wiring diagram from google and with my meter was able pin point the problem as a faulty ground in the system. The motors ground to ground distribution cell 14 but I have an open line between the ground wire and the negative battery terminal. I ran a ground from the black wire on the right fan and the system works properly now. The problem is the v6 has a 30 amp fuse on the ground that is now bypassed. Testing from the fuse holder one lead has 0 ohms to the black wire right fan and the other should go to ground but is an open line. Sorry long story for a short question. Where is ground distribution cell 14?
