correct sparkplugs to use?

hey guys i have a 2001 pontiac sunfire 2 door with the 2.2 ohv engine and i want to know what brand sparkplugs to use with these cars? because from what i heard some sparkplugs may be too short thus not making a good connection with the coil wires.

could champion plugs and wires also work?

Any plugs and/or wires will work. The repair manual doesn't recommend it, but it will work and I don't know if they will have any negative affects on the motor.

I just always stick to the OE recommendations when it comes to spark plugs.

yeah i'd go with OEM but the champion dbl plantinum is avalable everywhere and i was wondering if that was a good plug brand as i use it in my caravan and does pretty well (probably because its the OE plugs) so u think that champion will work or will i have to search for another brand?

You can use champion just make sure they give you the correct cross reference from the A/C Delco original plug.
