I'm driving an 02 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3800 with SC
I recently hired a mobile mechanic to come to my home and troubleshoot a problem I was having . intermittent stalling and no starts.
He determined it was a bad crankshaft position sensor wiring harness I bought a new one but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to installing without cutting it in half.
And that is exactly what I had to do to get the old one out.
I have posted a picture the gap the connectors are supposed go through but won't fit.
I have already removed the lower radiator hose, tension pulley, coil pack, ignition control module still can't get it in.
I also included a cut out diagram of it's path.
I can't find one single video on the subject nor can I find any information of the the internet.
I thought about trying to de-pin it but failed to successfully do it.
If anyone has had experience with this harness I will be eternally grateful if you can help me out with this
