I have an "83 Trans Am that is a Knightrider replica. It has a digital dash that does not use the original gauges. Oil pressure is shown with an LED bar display.
Just to feel better, I would like to add in an oil pressure gauge and disable the bar. I was told that electrical GM oil pressure gauges work with a 0-90 ohm sending unit. If I were to dig around in a wrecking lot for a gauge, what range of years should I be looking at? Is there a website that explains some of this?
I have tried some of the vendors in Hemmings and have not gotten any replies.
Thanks
