Dash wiring 72 Lemans with air

Just got my 72 Lemans back from paint and now the work begins. The dash wiring is pretty shot, wondering who offfers the best wire harness for fdirect fit. Also, when I put the dash
Back in, does it go in with all gauges installed and wiring attached. I was thinking that the factory would install the dash as a total unit??? Any thoughts appreciated, as I'm definitely

you should invest in a copy of the 1972 Pontiac Service Manual. The 1971 copy that I have describes removal and installation without removing the complete dash but you do have to lower the steering column.
