how do i turn them off on a 99 pontiac grand am 2 door...i hate daylight lights

Did you check for a fuse?

ZZPerformance sold a kit to do this a while back.
If you just unplug a fuse or the drl relay, it could affect your lights & will kick on the SVS.
The kit makes it so you can decide when the lights are on and even turn the driving lights on/off seperately.
