Car Was Fine Suddenly All The Gauages And Lights Died Car Was Still Driving, Got It Home, Wont Start Now At All, Jump It And It Runs Until It Stalls Out.

What Could Cause This ?

Checked The Relays, Fuses None Blown, Battery Terminals Are Tight and No Corrosion, Positive To Starter And Fuse Box Are Tight And Secure. Ground Wires Are All Tight.

Where To Look For Problems Just Had Tranny Replaced 1 Month Ago. And Now This Issue

sounds like it could be your alternator..I would take it out and get it tested for free at a autozone pepboys ect.

did you test the connections using a meter or just visually? When it's running for the few seconds what voltage reading are you getting at the battery with the jumper disconnected? What voltage reading are you getting at the battery with the engine off?

was just a visual look over for the obvious, but then i metered it on 20v DC Setting at battery it was 11.76 with car off so below the 12.5 normal, its on charger now. alternator was giving out 10volts with car on no load, on load it couldn't keep up and kills battery can watch volts go from 11 down to 5.86 and then it stalls car. where it should be at high 12 if not 13 on load so think its definitely the issue
