Looking for a site to decode the trims codes for my 1977 Grand Lemans. Anyone have some info on this. Getting repainted.

Post a picture of your Cowl tag, we should be able to decode it for you.
Or for $65.00 Pontiac Historical Services will provide the information on how your car was originally equipped.

They have most of the records for cars Built between 1959 to 1987. But there are a few holes, and if they do not have your cars info I am told they will refund your money.

There is a 2 digit number code by the U and L ( means upper and lower paint )
That is your paint code number.
Check here for that number that matches the chart
( 6th column = factory paint code)

It is a coupe with 305 Chevy engine with 66,000 miles. Getting repainted this week.

I have a place in my heart for the 73-77 GM ABody cars, had a 75 GrandLemans Dark blue and blue interior, I bought as a winter car in NY for $ 300 . Rusted to crap but ran great, ( 350 Pontiac 2bbl) Painted all the chrome black, added 31" tall truck tires and called it the" Bruzmobile" ( black and blue and all beat up) Never got stuck in the winter with it .
