I have replaced the bulb on the passenger side headlight twice and the dim light still doesn't work.
"dim light still doesn't work" ??? So in other words the light was dim before you changed it and the new bulb is also dim?
Sounds like a bad ground wire. Find the ground wire and make sure it has a good clean connection to a ground, also check that wire for continuity.

I do think it probably is an open wire in the 'dim' circuit on the passenger side. The bright works fine, though. I think the ground wire circuit would be shared between the dim and bright.

Duh!!!! I thought the bright and dim used the same bulb. I was changing out the bright bulb the whole time not realizing that there was a separate dim bulb!!! I am thankful I didn't take it to a shop to fix it!! Thanks for your help 87 GP.
