Hi, I have a survivor low mileage 1966 Catalina 6 passenger wagon. I am trying like crazy to find a dual master cylinder/front disk brake conversion kit for this car. I plan on driving this car a lot... Can anyone direct me? Thanks in advance for any help. Bear
the original Disc Brake Conversion kits were engineered utilizing the 1969 - 1970 Pontiac Full Size ROTORS which were available back then, but are now -- Very obsolete.....
Master power Brakes in North Carolina ( 704 - 664 - 4466 I believe / recall)
(they probably have a website).....
had these kits without rotors -- and they are probably "thrown in the back of the building now" because what good is a kit without ROTORS?!?!?
I Have THE ROTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Call me if you need me -- craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935.... new York....
I have included a link for you to check out. Send Scarebird e-mail and they will set you up with everything needed for that Cat. I have installed the same system on my '66. See my posts. Ames gets their products from Scarebird. Included with the new mounting brackets for front and rear disc conversion you will receive a full parts list. Calipers, rotors, pads ect. all over the counter at your local NAPA. My conversion cost a grand. TODD
