Do you like your Pontiac Sunfire?

I am thinking about buying an 01. It's a Coupe, 2.2L. I've heard HORRIBLE things about Sunfires, but there seem to be ao many of them around, are they THAT bad??
 
Like with any car purchase, have the car checked before buying it by a competent mechanic
