I think no for this reason, the automatic transmission has automatic transmission fluid, and a manual or stick shift would have a clutch and so not need anything other than adjustment. I am not totally sure though and ask you to look for the book that comes with a car. In it you should find that answer. Or type into search pontiac car repair.
