Does it defeat the purpose of having a ragtop if I use the air conditioner???

I feel guilty using air conditioning when I can just drop the top. Shade is good. A/C is good. Any views???

Humidity I think makes the difference, hot and humid, A/C rules!

Yeah lucky mines empty and I gotta figure out if the compressor is still good in mine. lol so I have to use the 55 mph A/C on hot days.

And melsg5 is right humidity plays a big roll. A/C yanks the humidity right out of the air in a car.

200K and the A/C still works? I'm jealous , 132k on mine and I need a retrofit.....................

I remember my old 2000 S10 , 38* outlet temp...

or my old 77 Bonneville 403 " the Green Monster"..... So cold that ice vapor would come out the vents!

In AZ they called it "Mexican Air Conditioning " ( roll the windows down and drive "70 mph" cause its hotter.) 55 is too slow.
