Hello!
I have a jammed passenger door on my 79 firebird formula. I've taken the panel off the drivers door to see how all the locking/handle mechanisms are supposed to work then compared that to what happening on the inside of the passenger door.
Everything seems to be the same and it is unlocked. It will open about 3/8" or so, but that's it. Not enough to be able to get the panel off - although, at this point, I'm not sure that would make any difference.
I've put more penetrating oil on the locking mechanism and moved all the handles and locks again - while everything did appear to be smoother - door will still not open.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? Thanks so much! Tina
