dtc 0717, HELP !!

I've got an 02 sunfire 2.4 auto. keep getting code 0717. input shaft speed sensor. every now and then I get a 0716. I have searched all over looking for a damaged wire like mentioned in the tsb and don't see anything damaged or even questionable.

what have most people found when dealing with this issue. am I overlooking something in the wiring harness or is this a bad sensor?

if you cannt find a bad wire replace the sensor
