Ecotec swap...anyone done it?

I came across a wrecked 04 sunfire with an ecotec engine and only 78,000 miles for less than a grand. It had been t-boned, but the only damage was to the drivers door and possibly the sub frame.
My question is since its a 2.2 engine and automatic transmission, can I just swap the engine, trans, and under-hood harness to my girls 99 sunfire with a 2.2 and auto trans, or is there more to it? Any advice would help, thanks

done it several time, being your car is a pre 2000 its a complicated swap. pretty much u have to swap every piece of wiring in the car, hole interior harness and dash harness including bcm, cluster and lower dash, If your evap is in the rear you wont need to swap the fuel lines, but either way u need to swap the gas tank and pump. In the engine bay you'll need pretty much everything, headlight harness, rad, hoses the works.
