Engine code P0440

I have a 99 sunfire gt and the check engine light came on and auto zone said the code number was P0440. This seems to be mainly related to evap problems. I would like to know if this is a common problem with this vehicle and would appreciate any help!!

-aaEVAP (evaporative emission system)
small Leak/no
-aaflow condition
-Explanation
-aaThe evaporative emission system is monitored for aait's ability to hold vacuum.
-Probable cause
-aa1 defective or loose fuel cap
-aa2 evap canister or hose cracked-not connected
-aa3 purge or vent solenoid defective
-aa4 vacuum leak at engine

The gas cap is the first thing to check for being loose or bad seal.

thanks, i had tightened it before getting it looked at and it turned back off this morning so im guessing it was that. Weird thing is is that it wasnt loose, guess ill just wait and see
