Engine code

Hi all,
New to the forum and new to Pontiac in general. I'm a norwegian who just bought my first Firebird, a -74.

I need to know what kind of engine I have, all I know is the engine code and it seems this engine comes with a few setups.

Anyone who knows this? My engine code is YN 508288.

The YN means 350 cubic inches, 170 horse power, 1 2 barrel carburetor
The 508288 should be the last 6 digits of the vehicles identification number.
