Got the high rpm problem solved. Thanks all of you that helped. Now I have an engine surge will driving or setting still. The engine will surge like it is getting an extra shot of gas. Any suggestions??
How does the spray pattern look on the injector?
If it's a cone shaped even spray it is fine. But if it's uneven or you see it dripping it's either a dirty injector or low fuel pressure.
You can clean out the throttle body with throttle body spray and some injector clean in the tank. A dirty fuel filter can also cause low fuel pressure. When was the last time it was changed? Finally the fuel pump itself can be getting weak. There is a shrader valve to check fuel pressure it should be between 9 and 12 psi. If it's lower check fuel filter and pump. If it's normal check injector.
