Engine swap!!!! I need some advice

I was thinking of dropping a Buick 3800 supercharged engine in to my 92 sunbird se.
1. Would this work?
2. I want to keep it a manual
3. Any suggestions would be appreciated its my first attempt at a swap.

The V6 3.1l engine that was available in your car was a 60 degree V6, The 3.8 is a 90 degree V6, don't think it will fit.

Yes but alot of work ( easier on a 95 and up JBody)

The best and easiest swap is the GM 3400-3500 V6 swap which is basicly the same as the 3.1 V6 that came in the 92-94 JBody Sunbirds.

Thanks for the reply! I actually found a friend who wants to rebuild my 2.0

Next two questions. Is their a cold air intake for this engine? Also I've been wondering if a m62 lsj supercharger will fit on this 2.0?

1) No intake available , you have to make your own out of a universal kit or use the factory tube and add a cone filter on the end.

2) .....wont work ......no manifold.

Tips ....( if you swap in another motor from a later Gen 3 Jbody)
