Restoring 1979 Trans am, replacing Pontiac 400 with Chev 454 Big Block, What energy Suspension Motor Mounts to use, as the 350 v8 mounts do fit the Big Block,do not want the insert type. ?

My guess would be you have to switch everything to BB Chevy including the frame brackets. Any reason why you just dont call Energy Suspensions?

If the BBC and SBC share the same mounting location in a 2nd gen F body, then use the holes closest to the radiator support. And if you are doing a 700r4 conversion, you will have to cut the drive shaft 3 inches and move your cross member back 3 inches. I drilled new 1 inch holes into the sub frame to accommodate the tranny mount on the 700r4. I am using oem rubber motor mounts.
I have a sbc 350 and 700r4 in my bird now. Bolted to a 4:10 posi 8.5 inch 10 bolt.
