Your link isnt available to the public. Why would you tear it down without first doing some basic testing like a compression test and oil pressure or have you?

Thanks, ok lol I guess I need to post all the pics on here then :p Forgot I was signed in on impalaforums. Yes I have tested everything everything was fine. Tear down because when I got it, it had a bad LIM gasket (coolant goop) and I wanted to since it is old and I wanted to check/change out bearings. Turns out the pistons rings are great but the bearings could use a change.

Plus now I get to paint and clean everything up! The power steering reservoir cracked at the hose connection so power steering fluid was everywhere. As in a previous post, a clean engine shows a leak better (should there ever be one)

I'll post a link to my photobucket.

Decided to make this most if anyone was ever curious.

Have fun! I have to do this with our GA and I'm either junking the car or it's gonna wind up with a 3800 SC Series II or III.

Gotta check my posts before uploading them...there was supposed to be an "if" in there. The little 4 banger is running good ATM. Just dreaming ATM.
