engine timing indicator

i have a 1986 pontiac fiero gt and im attempting to set my initial timing to start my car. where is the location of the engine timing indicator i found the marks i need to line on my pulley but i need to set my mark to 0. can anyone help me? thanks

When looking at the front of the crank pulley it sits at about 11 o"clock.
If you look under the alternator you should be able to see it.
