Help with wiring. Starting with 2 wires back by converter. I’m thinking oil light sending unit and the other to the positive side of coil. Front wires starting on left. Wire with fuse is marked alternator so I’m assuming correct. Next wire thinking a/c. The next red and black thinking starter. Next I’m thinking temp sending unit. Next not sure about this black wire but thinking alternator. The last wire with plug I’m thinking alternator. Would there be the : wires going to the alternator? Also where does the negative cable from battery get grounded to? Does it look like all need wiring is here? Thanks

Did this car come without an engine?
Do you have the 1969 factory service manual which contains wiring diagrams?
The negative cable is grounded on the engine block.
The positive coil wire should be a double wire, one from the switch and the resistor wire from the starter R terminal.

Ok so the wire there should be from the switch. I will need to add a wire from the starter. I am assuming Previous owner just has out of car since it’s not attached to this wire harness
