I am wanting to buy a new fan clutch for my car and I have no clue which one to buy. My engine is a 1975 350 4 barrel, use to have A/C but it was taken out, I'm using an OEM style radiator. If anybody could help me that would be great. Thank you.

Not clear by what you mean by which one. Usually there are two types thermostatic and centrifigal, you should use the thermostatic.

There are 3: Thermo Heavy duty, Thermo Standard duty, Non Thermal

Autozone list all three the same Part #s for both years. ( taking the 75 engine is from a Lemans also)

Heavy duty is probally for desert areas/ stop and go city traffic.

I live in a small town with sometimes quite a bit of stop and go traffic.

Unless you are in the southwest the regular duty thermostatic unit is fine.

I live in Texas. North Texas area. Which one exactly do I need if I live in the north Texas area?

If you live in an area that many days of the year has 100+ temperatures I would recommend the heavy duty one.

yes that is fine, nobody local has a fan clutch?

O'Reilly has some but every time I go down there they always have to order the part I'm wamting so I use summit racing all the time so I decided to use them.

In that picture of the fan clutch. There is a golden colored ring in the pic. Where does that ring go?

it is an adaptor for different size water pump hubs

from years experience!! only buy the top quality fan clutch!! spend the bux - way ahead of problems!! top end thermostatically controlled one!!

the ring if required goes on the hub of the water pump
