Fan on after car off

my 2008 torrent coolant fans stay on sometimes after vehicle is turned off. The gauge always shows normal. No overheat. Fluid levels are also ok. Last time it happened it was alittle chilly. Any ideas? Thanks

your system is reading that the fans need to run to bring the engine temperature down. It could be a sensor issue or something else. A diagnostic scanner has to be used to determine why they continue to run assuming the engine isnt really hot.
