Fan Shroud

I have recently installed a new radiator and noticed the my shroud is beat to hell. I want to order a new one, but does the shroud affect the cooling at all? I would ideally like to just remove it completely, cause it's hideous. I do not know to much on the heating and cooling, so any help would be appreciated. I also would consider installing an electric fan, I don't know what the pros and cons would be on that?

the fan shroud has a tremendous impact on the efficiency of the cooling system with the stock engine driven fan. If you switch to electric they have their own shrouds.

Hi, Iwould suggest getting the largest fan you can without interferring with anything. you may need it in traffic. Good luck
